Winslow graduated from the University of Washington in 2019 with a BA in Environmental Studies. Since finishing his undergraduate degree, Winslow has worked with multiple nonprofits within the environmental justice field. Winslow led a multi-year, consumer behavior research project with the Department of Energy focused on understanding the perspectives of traditionally-excluded communities on community solar programs. He also helped facilitate the codesign process for a community-owned and controlled solar system in the climate-impacted Boston neighborhoods of Dorchester, Roxbury, and Mattapan. Outside of his work, Winslow volunteers with a shelter in Seattle for young people experiencing homelessness and a peer-support organization for families of youth navigating behavioral health challenges. He is interested in working alongside community members to identify behavioral health system interventions that inspire equitable health outcomes and reduce barriers to accessing health services.
