The Washington Family Mental Health Resource Hub Review is a guide to eight high-quality mental and behavioral health websites for families. CoLab for Community & Behavioral Health Policy collaboratively developed this review with a group of ten youth and caregivers with lived experience navigating the Washington state mental health care system. This guide aims to connect families with pertinent and trustworthy resources about child and adolescent mental health that have been selected and evaluated by people who have navigated mental health challenges themselves and/or supported a young person navigating mental health challenges.
The guide includes full-page reviews of each resource hub with the following information:
The intended audience of a resource hub
A summary of a site's strengths and areas of improvement
Reflections from caregivers and youth on their experience using a resource hub
Ratings on qualities like trustworthiness, use of non-stigmatizing language, and more
