Clinically, she works with youth and families in acute care settings, including the Emergency Department, inpatient psychiatry unit, and medical floors. More broadly, she is dedicated to improving pediatric mental health systems of care to ensure equitable access to high-quality care for youth and young adults and is particularly interested in policy-based approaches to achieve this aim. She recently received grant funding to create a program that provides telehealth consultation to Emergency Departments and hospitals across the state to support increasing volumes of youth in mental health crisis. She is also working with CoLab to explore upstream, larger scale interventions that increase outpatient and population-level supports to address the national emergency in children’s mental health.
