Anna graduated from Emory University in 2017 with a BA in Psychology and Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies. Prior to joining CoLab, Anna worked for 2.5 years at LifeWire as an advocate for survivors of domestic violence and their children. In this position, she also co-directed the Children’s Domestic Violence Response Team, a wraparound partnership program aimed at bridging the gap between behavioral health services and domestic violence survivor advocacy. Additionally, Anna previously worked as a research coordinator for the Grady Trauma Project in Atlanta, GA, a large-scale study examining Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and the clinical and physiological implications of trauma exposure. Anna is passionate about increasing access to mental health care for all children and families, especially those with systemic barriers to culturally relevant services and support. Her interests also include promoting health equity, supporting families in healing from trauma, and ensuring client-centered and trauma-informed approaches in social services.
