Department of Health (DOH) Court-Involved Mortality Study

SAJE researchers are partnering with the Washington Department of Health (DOH) to examine mortality and causes of death for court involved individuals in addition to possible connections between mortality, cause of mortality, race/ethnicity, gender, frequency and type of court involvement, and age of first court contact. Dr. Carl McCurley and Dr. Jerald Herting will be spearheading this project.
